Riviera Restaurant - Route 66 History Up in Flames

Last Tuesday evening, an icon on Route 66 in Gardner, IL went up in flames; The Riviera Restaurant.  An old speakeasy and hang out of Al Capone.  I'm glad we were able to see it on our pre-trip from Chicago to Litchfield.  Here is what it looked like when we were there:
