Less than 4 1/2 days to go;
Things are falling into place and all the plans are made. I have even made my final reservation for our first night at The Wagon Wheel Motel in Cuba, MO. This is an icon of Route 66 that has fallen into disrepair and bad experiences over the years. They have now reopened with newly remodeled rooms, so I said what the heck, let's give it a shot. If the rooms don't live up to their billing, there's always the Holiday Inn Express.

4.5 days, have a great trip and we will be thinking about you drinking a cold one in the keys (Key West) during July 4th as you arrive in Santa Monica. Your Former Sterlite :)
