We made it to Sayre, OK without any issues. Seems my paranoia yesterday was just that; paranoia. We hit a great Route 66 Museum today, that's where the VW Bus and 8-Track tape pictures came from.
I did justify the use of all this electronic gear. Got to Sayre and our wonderful TomTom GPS had no clue where our hotel was, didn't even know the street. So I wipped out my new Blackberry, fired up Google maps, identified where we were, told it to take me to your leader, and 10 mins. later we were at the hotel. yee ha !

Impossible that your TomTom had no clue. This product is Dutch! Remember Peter Stuyvesant. Already in the 17th century he could find the America's.
